Close your eyes again and drop your awareness to your belly, the area just below your navel. Again, silently tune into your own first. How does it feel? Compare it to how your heart felt. Spend a few moments there until you have some sense of how your belly feels. Open your eyes and without speaking become aware of the other person’s belly, feeling differences and similarities between you. In gentle eye-contact, still matching your breathing, silently share the belly space and compare how it feels, different to the heart space. After a few minutes, share your impressions with your partner.
