Set 2 - exercise 9

Close your eyes once more and focus your attention lightly between your eyebrows. This is the Third Eye space, and depending on whether you have practised this in meditation, you will see, feel and experience quite different things here. It’s also different each time—so there is nothing anyone should be seeing or feeling here. It can become quite intense, so it’s important not to use any effort. Simply relax and hold a gentle awareness between your eyebrows, becoming aware of how it feels there, different to the heart and the belly space. Open your eyes, become aware of the other person’s Third Eye without staring and without focusing your eyes between the other person’s eyebrows. Share the Third Eye space in silent gentle eye-contact. Allow your physical vision to go out of focus. What do you notice? After a few minutes of this, share your impressions out loud with your partner.
